The SUNY Delhi men's cross country team opened their season with a bang at LeMoyne College for the short course invitational.  The team was led by junior Jack Hillenbrand, freshman Kobie Lane and sophomore Scott Downing who placed 1-2-5 respectively.  Sophomore Mat Robinson and freshman Cameron-Grant-Hill added 17th and 19th place finishes for the Broncos.

The team finished with a total of 41 points, seven points ahead of four-time USCAA National Champions SUNY ESF and well ahead of division II opponents LeMoyne and Daemen.

The women ran an incomplete team, but were led by Khiere Ashley who placed fifth overall in the strong field.  Deirdre Nolis also placed 20th for the Broncos.

The team will travel a partial squad to Oneonta next weekend for the Airfield Invitational.
