Keyes Earns First Career Win as Ladies Triumph Hosting Bronco Classic

DELHI, N.Y. (October 3, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's cross country team took the top three spots and five of the top nine Wednesday evening to secure a win as hosts of the Bronco Classic. Freshman Kali Keyes led the way for her first career victory as Delhi won with 23 points.

Keyes led all throughout the 5K race, finishing in 20:41.8. Fellow freshman Katerina Salcedo cruised in second at 21:38.1, while Arielle Moheimani took third at 22:26.4. Tristen Bowker carried through in eighth place at 23:14.5, while Diandra Oliver secured ninth at 23:24.0.

Delaney Coughlin finished 11th at 24:00.9 before the trio of Brittany Patterson (24:51.4), Madison Ruby (24:57.5) and Alexis Stevenson (24:57.7) respectively took spots 15 through 17. Brittany Adams was 22nd at 26:06.3 and Jewel Pignetti placed 25th at 26:24.1. Susan Hoskins rounded out the field in 34th, timing in at 27:28.2.

The ladies have one more regular-season race when they head to the Green Mountain Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13.
