Women's Harriers Collect Fourth at Mt. St. Mary

MILTON, N.Y. (September 29, 2018) – SUNY Delhi women's cross country competed Saturday at the Mount St. Mary Invitational. The Broncos battled competitively in rough terrain to place fourth out of 26-team field with 174 points. Freshman Kali Keyes was the first of the women to finish the 6K course with a time of 26:58, placing fifth overall.

Keyes led the way from the start, coming through the mile mark in second place, while freshman Katerina Salcedo was not far behind at that mark in 12th in the field of 229 runners. Salcedo finished the race in 28:07, placing 20th overall. Closing out the scoring for the women were sophomore Arielle Moheimani (41st, 29:09), freshman Mersadie Dibbell (48th, 29:21), and senior Tristen Bowker (73rd, 30:34).

Delhi also featured Diandra Oliver (78th, 30:45), Brittany Patterson (86th, 31:11), Delaney Coughlin (90th, 31:19) Alexis Stevenson (103rd, 32:09), Madison Ruby (118th, 33:07), and Brittany Adams (127th, 33:38).

The United States Merchant Marine Academy won the event with 65 points, while host Mount St. Mary was second with 106 points and St. Joseph's (L.I.) third with 132 points.

The Broncos head home this coming Wednesday for the annual Bronco Classic at The SUNY Delhi College Golf Course, set to begin at 5:15 p.m.
