DELHI, N.Y. (September 16, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team served up their home season this weekend with matches against Pratt on Saturday and Bard on Sunday. The Broncos were shut out by the Cannoneers by a 9-0 score, then were beaten, 8-1, by the Raptors.
Delhi's sole victory of the weekend came courtesy of the three doubles team of Hina Yanagawa and Katelyn Lewis, beating Bard's tandem of Duhita Das and Nicole Parides by an 8-4 score. Katie Mach played a close one singles match on Saturday against Pratt's Amy Young, coming up short in the first set, 7-5, then falling in set two, 6-2.
Head coach Courtney Hoyt's team takes this week to prepare for another weekend home stand, welcoming Farmingdale State on Saturday, Sept. 22 at 3:00 p.m., followed by St. Joseph's of Long Island on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
