DELHI, N.Y. (October 30, 2019) – The field for the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Tournament has been set, as the conference officially announced the SUNY Delhi women's soccer team as the fourth seed. The Broncos will host sixth-seed SUNY Canton in the conference quarterfinals on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 1:30 p.m. at SUNY Oneonta.

The Broncos finished the regular season with an 8-6-2 overall record and 5-2-1 NAC record. The winner of Sunday's tournament game will face first-seed Maine Maritime in the conference semifinals, tentatively scheduled for Friday, Nov. 8. The NAC Semifinals and Finals will be held in a final four format, hosted by top-seed Maine Maritime. Both semifinals matches are slated for Friday, Nov. 8, with the finals set for Sunday, Nov. 10. Official word on the semifinals and finals dates and times will be determined.

Coach Mackay's women finished one spot above their number-five ranking in the NAC Preseason Poll after a roller coaster regular season. Their first year as NAC members started with the highest of high at 4-0-1. But five defeats over their next six games put the Broncos near the .500 mark, which they countered by going 3-1-1 to close out the year. Delhi played a total of seven overtime games this season, where they went 2-3-2. Interestingly enough, the Broncos took each of the top three NAC seeds to overtime, tying second-seed Husson and coming up just short to top-seed Maine Maritime and number-three Maine Farmington.

Junior Alexa DuBois and sophomore Kelsey Innes are both tied for third in the conference in scoring with 32 points apiece. DuBois ranks second in the NAC with 14 goals, while Innes is third with 13 goals and tied with Alexa Scaglione for third with six assists. Freshman Micayla Slattery is second in the NAC with eight assists. Goalkeepers Jessica Shultis and Rachael Scoones have split time in net this season. Shultis is 4-1-2 on the year with one shutout, 1.73 goals against average (fifth in NAC) and a .770 save percentage. Scoones is 4-5 with one shutout, 2.23 goals allowed average and .794 save percentage.

DuBois was twice named NAC Athlete of the Week and once a USCAA Athlete of the Week. Scoones received NAC Defensive Player of the Week two times and USCAA Goalie of the Week. Innes earned NAC Athlete of the Week honors, while Slattery was a NAC Rookie of the Week recipient.
