Head coach Rasul Jackson joins Delhi for the 2023-24 season following his tenure as the head coach at Cazenovia College. In his two seasons there, he led the team to a conference tournament appearance, making a significant impact. Notably, in his first season, Jackson guided the Wildcats to the North Atlantic Conference tournament, securing a first-round victory.
Before his role at Cazenovia, Jackson embarked on his coaching journey as the assistant men's basketball coach at Northern Vermont University from 2018 to 2020. His responsibilities encompassed diverse areas, including player development, recruitment, and providing support to student-athletes. Concurrently, he served as the Assistant Director of Admissions and held the position of Executive Assistant to the Associate Dean of Athletics.
Coach Jackson earned a bachelor's degree in Business & Sports Management from Northern Vermont University-Johnson in 2018. His dedication to his craft led him to pursue a master's in Athletic Leadership from Castleton University, which he completed in 2021. While at NVU-Johnson, he not only excelled academically but also demonstrated leadership on the court as a four-year starter and team captain for the men's basketball program.
Originally hailing from Philadelphia, PA, Jackson is accompanied by his fiancée, Kendra. His journey in coaching, coupled with his educational accomplishments, shapes his commitment to Delhi's athletics program.
