Holland Nets 30, Three Tally Double-Doubles in Road Win at Central Penn

SUMMERDALE, Pa. (January 9, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's basketball team opened 2018 in a similar tone to their 2017 stretch of the season, claiming a 93-82 road win at Central Penn on Sunday. Backed by Kiera Holland's first 30-point game of the season and Erica Cornmire, Katie Herba and Camryn McDonald each tallying double-doubles, the Broncos stand at 11-4, having won five of their last six contests.

Despite not making a 3-pointer, Holland netted 30 points, making 11-of-23 from the floor and 8-of-13 from the free throw line. She also recorded five steals and four rebounds. McDonald just missed out on a triple-double, tallying nine points, 17 rebounds and 14 assists for her tenth double-double of the season. Cornmire and Herba each had 20-point nights, with Cornmire logging 23 points and ten steals, while Herba had 20 points, ten rebounds and eight steals, making 9-of-11 from the floor.

Head coach Vicki Andruszkiewicz's team is back out on the road for a contest at NIAC-foe College of St. Joseph on Wednesday, January 10 at 1:00 p.m. The game will be played at Green Mountain College.
