Seniors Sent Out on Top

SUNY Delhi celebrated Senior Day Saturday afternoon as they took on Central Penn in their final home game of the season. Seniors Samantha St. Denis, Brittany Toliver, and Megan Moody took the floor to start the game for SUNY Delhi and helped propel the Broncos into a dominating lead. SUNY Delhi outscored the Knights 19-7 and 23-6 in the first and second periods of the game, respectively, entering halftime with a 42 to 13 lead. All eleven members of the SUNY Delhi team capable of participating in the game contributed points on the board for the Broncos. Katie Herba led the way on the scoreboard for SUNY Delhi, putting up 12 points, while teammate Diana Echols pulled down 9 rebounds and had 4 blocks. Senior Toliver's team oriented play earned her 6 assists on the game and, collectively, the Broncos pulled in 20 steals. SUNY Delhi would send their seniors out on top, 65-43. The Broncos travel to SUNY Canton tomorrow afternoon for their final game of the season.
