SUNY Delhi women's basketball started the season off at home Tuesday night versus Fulton Montgomery. Cayla Heffern led the way offensively for the Broncos, scoring 14 points. Brittany Toliver and Samiaya Salley also contributed on the scoreboard, putting in 13 points apiece for the Broncos. Defensively, the Broncos' quick hands pulled in 14 steals. However, Fulton Montgomery's dominating performance on the boards, outrebounding the Broncos 71 to 34, proved to be the Broncos' Achilles heel. The Raiders would go on to win 84-48 at the final buzzer.
