ERIE, Pa. (February 18, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi swimming and diving team still had plenty to say during the distance events on Saturday's fourth and final day of the AMCC Championships, which included a school record falling.

Sophomore Julia Witt set a new school record in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 21:05.91 for ninth place. She surpassed the previous record of 21:16.26, set by Julie Halpin in 2005. Daniel Landis turned in a time of 25:43.16 on the men's side for ninth place.

Head coach Mike Burud's swimmers achieved a lot to be proud of during their four-day stay at Penn State Behrend for the conference championships. In all, the Broncos secured 15 finals spots through preliminaries, which included many PR performances. The men finished fifth with 119 points, while the women tallied 13 points for sixth place.
