ALLENTOWN, Pa. (November 18, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's swimming and diving team competed Saturday in a dual match at Cedar Crest. Julia Witt won a pair of events to lead the Broncos to 40 points on the day. The Falcons posted 135 points. The Delhi men also competed Saturday for official times.

Witt captured victories in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:11.41 and the 100-yard freestyle at 1:03.34. The sophomore also took second in the 100-yard IM at 1:16.84. In her SUNY Delhi swimming debut, Madison Saleman earned a runner-up finish in the 50-yard backstroke at 45.37, and third in the 100-yard freestyle at 1:36.03. Caitlyn Dowd took two third-place marks in the 50-yard backstroke at 50.81 and the 200-yard breaststroke at 3:46.93.

Head coach Mike Burud's team has two weeks away from competition entering Thanksgiving break. They will make their home debut on Saturday, Dec. 1 when they host their four-team Fall Invitational.
