Prior to joining Delhi, Coach Brown served as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at Colgate University (NCAA Div. I) in Hamilton, N.Y. His responsibilities included working with pole vault, jumps as well as contributing to the day-to-day operations of the program. His dedication and expertise led to the establishment of two new school records in the women's triple jump and women's pole vault. Before Colgate, he excelled as an assistant coach at Stevenson University (NCAA Div. III) in Owings Mills, Md., primarily focusing on sprints/hurdles. During his two-year tenure, he played a crucial role in guiding the Mustangs to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor and Outdoor team championships in 2018-19. His student-athletes achieved outstanding results, earning five NCAA national qualifications and two All-American titles. Brown's contributions were recognized when he was honored as the 2019 USTFCCCA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Mideast Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

As a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, Coach Brown was a standout track & field student-athlete at SUNY Brockport (NCAA Div. III), specializing in sprints. His exceptional performances earned him the distinction of being a two-time All-American in the 4x100 and anchoring the relay to an impressive career-best time of 40.72. During his time at Brockport, the Golden Eagles secured the 2015 SUNYAC and ECAC outdoor team championships. Brown's individual achievements included SUNYAC victories in the 400 meters (48.77) and the 4x100 (41.36), and ECAC wins in the 4x100 (41.41) and 4x400 (3:15.51). He also left his mark on the university's record books by breaking five school records. Furthermore, Brown's dedication to academics earned him all-academic recognition from the USTFCCCA and SUNYAC. His remarkable contributions led to his inclusion in SUNYAC's 2010-20 All-Decade Team. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a Coaching concentration (May 2014) and a Master's in Athletic Administration (December 2015).

Coach Brown's coaching journey began as an assistant at Marywood University (NCAA Div. III) in Scranton, Pa., from 2016 to 2017. During this time, he specialized in sprints and relays while also providing assistance to the cross-country programs. Notably, his efforts resulted in the university's 2016-17 Male Athlete of the Year. He then joined the coaching staff at Dickinson College (NCAA Div. III) in Carlisle, Pa., during the 2017-18 year, where he coached sprints, hurdles, and jumps and played a key role in the hosting of the 2017 Cross Country Regional Championship.

Coach Brown is a USTFCCCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and he has been responsible for implementing track & field strength and conditioning programs at Marywood, Dickinson, and Stevenson.
