WATERVILLE, ME. (March 11, 2019) – Week two of SUNY Delhi men's lacrosse's inaugural season in the NAC is in the books, and the Broncos have already secured two of the conference's weekly honors for the second straight week. Freshman goalie Travis Anderson (Putnam Valley, NY / Putnam Valley) earned his second consecutive weekly award, this time as the Defensive Player of the Week, while John Rohan (Wantagh, NY / Wantagh) was named NAC Player of the Week. Both played outstanding roles in Delhi's weekend road sweep of Wells and Purchase for the team's first two wins of the year.

The Broncos faced the Wells Express on Saturday, starting off their weekend right with a 15-5 victory. Rohan put up a team season best with six points on five goals and one assist. Anderson racked up ten saves on 15 shots faced, as his defense limited Wells to 23 total shots.

Delhi continued its travels Sunday to take on the Purchase Panthers. Ahead at halftime, 7-5, Delhi shut out Purchase in the third quarter, while tallying four goals in the period to pull away with a 13-7 victory. Anderson logged a season-high 17 saves on 24 shots faced, including eight saves during the Panthers' scoreless stretch that started with 9:12 to go in the second and ended with 8:47 left in the fourth, a total of 30:25 of scoreless action. Rohan again had a six-point day, this time with four goals and two assists.

Rohan leads the NAC with 12 goals, and is tied with teammate Malik Talbert for the conference lead with 15 points. Anderson leads the NAC with a 9.25 goals against average, and ranks second with a 58.4 save percentage.

Anderson, Rohan and the Broncos take their win streak to Cazenovia to face the Wildcats on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m., then will make their home season premiere against Maine Maritime on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at SUNY Oneonta.
