OAKLAND, Me. (October 13, 2019) – After a big first-place finish on day one, the SUNY Delhi men's golf team clinched their first North Atlantic Conference (NAC) team title on Sunday, shooting a 305 (+25) on day two for a 600 (+40) total, finishing 12 strokes ahead of the field. The Broncos' second day was led by Danny Christy and Alex Fisher, who each shot a 74 (+4). Christy tied for second on the individual leaderboard with a 147 (73, 74) for seven-over-par, while Fisher took sixth with a 151 (77, 74) for 11-over.

Delhi held a commanding 14-stroke lead after Saturday's portion with a 295 score, led by Christy, Zach Barrett, and Brandon Palmer each scoring a 73. Barrett carried a 79 (+9) Sunday to take seventh with a 152 (+12), as Palmer carded an 81 (+11) to take 11th with a 154 (+14). Aaron Oliver rounded out the team scoring with a 78 (+8) on Sunday, using his 76 (+6) from Saturday to place 11th with a 154 (+14).

Husson's Eric Dugas won the individual championship after a 68 (-2) score on Sunday gave him a winning total of 145 (77, 68) for five-over-par. Husson finished in second place, improving by ten strokes on Sunday for a 12-over-par total of 612 (311, 301). Thomas placed third following a pair of 309's for a 618 (+58).

Sunday's conference triumph marked another landmark NAC season for head coach Dave Arehart's men. Their first season in the conference last year saw Christy win the NAC Individual Championship, while the Broncos placed second. It also marked a fine capper to Delh's fall season, where they won one tournament and finished second at last week's USCAA National Championships.
