McWilliams Leads Broncos at Shenandoah

WINCHESTER, Va. (September 9, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi men's golf team wrapped up a two-day stay at the Shenendoah Invitational Sunday and Monday, finishing sixth with a 621 total (+53). The Broncos shot a 311 (+27) on Sunday, then a 310 (+26) Monday. The tournament was held at the par-71, 6,367-yard Winchester Country Club.

Jarrett McWilliams led Delhi, finishing ninth with a 152 (+10) total, shooting a 77 and 75. Zach Barrett took 22nd at 156 (+14) with 81 and 75 scores, while Alex Fisher earned 32nd with a 158 (+16) with matching 79 scores. Daniel Christy and Aaron Oliver both took 159 (+17) scores, with Christy carding a 77 and 82, while Oliver took a 78 and 81.

Competing individually were Jonathan Smolen, who placed 42nd with a pair of 81's for a 162 (+20) total, and Russell Herbert, who took 56th with a 169 (+27), carding an 86 and 83.

Head coach Dave Arehart's team has two weeks off before heading to Yahnundasis Golf Club in New Hartford, N.Y. for the Utica College Invitational, set for Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22.
