Former Bronco David Haye Signs with ABA's Binghamton Bulldogs

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (February 7, 2018) – The Binghamton Bulldogs of the American Basketball Association recently announced the addition of former SUNY Delhi men's basketball star David Haye. Haye, who played for head coach Zack Thomsen for the 2016-17 season, joins Binghamton after spending this past fall in El Salvador playing for Todos Somos Once Lobos. The 6'3" guard is also back on campus this semester to finish his degree in Recreation and Sports Management.

"David is a tremendous player and an explosive scorer," related Coach Thomsen. "He's going to fit in great with the way the Bulldogs want to play."

In just one season with the Broncos, Haye played in 30 games with 27 starts, averaging 23.0 ppg., 6.9 rpg. and 2.9 assists per game. A 2016-17 USCAA All-America second team selection, he scored over 30 points on eight different occasions, including a career-high 39 points against Fulton Montgomery on November 1, 2016, and scored the game-winning basket in an 83-82 win at Alfred State on February 11, 2017. The 6'3" guard also shot 46.9 percent (257-for-548) from the field and 36.8 percent (86-for-234) from 3-point range.
