The 2018-19 season will be Coach Bracchy's 14th as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at SUNY Delhi. Bracchy, a graduate of Delaware Academy High School, is originally from Freeport, N.Y. This will be Bracchy's 11th year as the Broncos' full-time head coach after serving his first three years in a part-time capacity. He also works as the Coordinator for the Clark Field House Fitness Center.
In 2007, Coach Bracchy helped the Broncos finish 5-1 in the Mountain Valley conference and make their first trip to the Region III Championship Tournament. In 2009, Delhi eclipsed the 20 win mark for the first time, finishing the season at 22-11, while winning their first conference championship. In 2010, Delhi had its strongest season, winning back to back conference championships and finishing with a record of 28-13.
Following high school, Coach Bracchy played two seasons of football at SUNY Brockport, before transferring to the University of South Florida in Tampa. Coach Bracchy earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from USF in 1996. He then completed his Masters of Sport Science with an emphasis in Sport Coaching from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama in 2004.
Prior to becoming the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at SUNY Delhi, Bracchy coached the junior varsity and varsity volleyball programs over a ten year period at Delaware Academy High School in Delhi. Coach Bracchy compiled a 116-41 overall record with the Bulldogs, including two Section IV Class "C" Championships. He has also coached volleyball at the junior olympic club level.
Coach Bracchy lives in DeLancey, N.Y. with his wife Kimberly and children Raegan, Bryce, and Tanner.
