SUNY Delhi wrestling teams shattered the national record for consecutive dual meet wins, capturing 92 straight between February 1979 and February 1983 and eclipsing the previous mark of 77 set by the University of Oklahoma. Under coach Frank Millard, Delhi enjoyed unprecedented success - four consecutive Region III team titles; All-American honors for eight Broncos; and an individual gold at the Junior Pan American Games. The Broncos followed up the streak by going 36-0 and earned their highest finish ever, placing third at the NJCAA Championships in 1984 and 1985.
