SYRACUSE, N.Y. (September 2, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's cross country team began their season today at the Le Moyne Short Course Invitational, hosted by Le Moyne College. The Broncos placed third in the five-team field with 95 points. Le Moyne won the competition with 18 points.

Arielle Moheimani paced SUNY Delhi with a 16th-place finish in the 49-runner race, timing in at 18:19.09. Elise McIntyre placed 25th at 19:57.77, and Jewel Pignetti 26th at 20:07.38. Rainey Cerqua finished 29st at 20:26.84, while Beverly Gruet placed 32nd at 20:48.55. Tristen Bowker took 34th with a time of 21:02.38, and Brittany Adams capped off the day for Delhi in 36th at 21:04.28.
