DELHI, N.Y. (November 2, 2017) – The American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) today unveiled its Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team. Delhi harriers Tristen Bowker (Walton, NY / Delaware Academy) and Elise McIntyre (Red Creek, NY / Red Creek) were named to the team. Bowker, a junior, holds a 3.92 GPA majoring in Restaurant and Food Service Management, while McIntyre, also a junior, is an Architecture major with a 3.85 GPA.

In addition, sophomore Nikita Hall (Brooklyn, NY / Bronx Academy of Health Careers) was named to the ACAA Honor Roll. Hall is a Nursing major with a 3.55 GPA.

McIntyre has been Delhi's second-top finisher in all but two races this season, with her highest placement coming at the Bronco Classic, finishing fourth with a time of 23:42.49. At the ACAA Championships, which Delhi hosted, McIntyre helped the Broncos to a second-place finish, placing sixth with a mark of 27:39.9. The junior from Red Creek, NY can also be seen giving back to the community, from running a student fair for elementary students, as well as teaching dance classes.

Bowker has had a successful 2017 campaign as one of Delhi's strong anchors, coming in as the Broncos' fifth or sixth-highest finisher most of the year. At the ACAA Championships, Bowker earned second team all-conference honors, placing 13th as Delhi's fifth finisher at 29:41.6. Her best finish this season came at the Bronco Classic, finishing eighth in the 5K race with a pace of 25:20.61.
