Women Wrap Up Regular Season at Green Mountain Invitational

POULTNEY, Vt. (October 14, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's cross country team closed out their regular season on Saturday at the 5K Green Mountain College Invitational. The Broncos finished fourth, compiling 64 points, with freshman Arielle Moheimani leading Delhi with a fourth-place finish time of 20:05. Moheimani, the reigning USCAA Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, has been the Broncos' top finisher for each of their six races this season.

Zhane Smith was the Broncos' second finisher, taking 13th at 21:45, while Elise McIntyre finished 15th at 21:57. Rainey Cerqua grabbed 18th place with a time of 22:55, Tristen Bowker placed 19th at 23:01 and Brittany Adams took 21st at 23:08. Beverly Gruet was 23rd at 23:27, Julia Witt 28th at 24:22 and Susan Hoskins 31st at 26:08.

The Broncos now have two weeks off as they prepare to host the ACAA/NIAC Championships on Saturday, October 28. The women's race will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the men at 12 noon at the College Golf Course.
