DELHI, N.Y. (October 4, 2017) – Six SUNY Delhi women's cross country runners claimed top-ten positions Wednesday as the Broncos hosted the Bronco Classic at the College Golf Course. Freshman Arielle Moheimani again paced Delhi, finishing second in the 5K, 31-player field with a time of 21:07.46. Head coach Robb Munro's squad averaged a 23:47.86 on the evening. Herkimer's Chyanna Bernier won the event at 19:46.16.

Elise McIntyre grabbed fourth for Delhi at 23:42.49, with Zhane Smith fifth at 24:18.11 and Rainey Cerqua sixth at 24:30.63. Tristen Bowker finished eighth with a mark of 25:20.61, with Beverly Gruet ninth at 25:24.85. Brittany Adams took 12th place at 25:59.11, while Susan Hoskins placed 15th at 26:50.03. Nikita Hall was the 20th woman to cross the finish line at 29:27.95, and Carmel Hyppolite was 24th at 32:41.19.

SUNY Delhi will be back home at the end of this month when they host the ACAA Championships on Saturday, Oct. 28. They have one more regular-season race this year at the Green Mountain College Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 14.
