Nick came to SUNY Delhi as a walk-on after a year off between high school and college. In his first fall season on the cross country team, Nick improved dramatically through an unbelievable work ethic. In his first indoor track and field meet this winter, Nick went through the 1600 meters in 5:02.22, four seconds better than his previous best for that distance, on his way to a huge personal best in the 3000 meters of 9:42. He has since dropped that time to 9:29. With a high school 5k best of just 19:19, Nick closed the outdoor track and field season with a personal best time of 15:49.
We look to Nick to return as a leader in his sophomore year!
