Ladies, Keyes Second to Wrap Regular Season at Green Mountain

POULTNEY, Vt. (October 13, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's cross country closed out their regular season on Saturday with a second-place finish at the Green Mountain Invitational. Freshman Kali Keyes led the Broncos with a second-place finish, while Katerina Salcedo, Arielle Moheimani and Tristen Bowker placed in the top ten to lead Delhi to 38 points, just two points behind first-place St. Joseph's of Maine.

Keyes finished the 5K race in 20:02, while Salcedo took fourth at 20:16, Moheimani eighth at 20:53 and Bowker ninth at 21:02. Mersadie Dibbell rounded out Delhi's scoring with a 15th-place finish in 21:28. Elise McIntyre took 18th with a mark of 21:49, while Brittany Patterson placed 26th in a time of 22:32.

Also running for the Broncos were Alexis Stevenson (33rd, 22:41), Delaney Coughlin (36th, 22:48), Diandra Oliver (42nd, 23:46), Madison Ruby (48th, 24:15), Jewel Pignetti (52nd, 24:35), Brittany Adams (54th, 24:41), Susan Hoskins (57th, 25:42), and Kiera Walker (67th, 30:38).

Saturday's competition marked the end of head coach Robb Munro's team's regular season. The Broncos have to weeks ahead of them to prepare to host the ACAA Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 11:00 a.m. They will then head to Virginia Beach, Va. to contend for the USCAA National Championships on Friday, Nov. 9 at 9:30 a.m.
