SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (September 25, 2018) – The American Collegiate Association (ACAA) announced Kali Keyes (East Meadow, NY / East Meadow) as its Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This is Keyes first career weekly honor, and the SUNY Delhi women's first honor of the season.
The freshman earned ACAA accolades after a top-five performance at Saturday's Bard College Fred Pavlich Invitational. In her first 6-kilometer race, Keyes crossed the line in 25:21.6 to take fifth overall. Keyes, who has led the women throughout the season, helped the Broncos secure a third-place finish.
The next test for Keyes and the women will be at 6K Mount St. Mary Invitational this Saturday.
