Women's Volleyball Comes Up Short Against Hartwick

Delhi, NY - The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team fell to Hartwick Monday night 3-1 (18-25, 18-25, 28-26, 15-25).

In the first two sets, Hartwick got out to early leads and never looked back. Delhi would keep themselves in striking range but would come up short. Set three followed the same trend with the Hawks jumping out in front, but this time finishing different with the Broncos mounting a late comeback to tie the set up 24 apiece before ultimately coming away with the 28-26 victory. Hartwick would eventually close the door on a complete comeback effort, earning a commanding 25-14 victory in the following set.

Delhi's top performers included junior Audrey Logsdon recording 19 digs, sophomore Finley Benn posted 14 kills, and fifth-year Michaella DeCapua accounted for 24 assists and 15 digs.

The Broncos move to 3-8 and will next face Marywood away on Wednesday, Sept 18.
