UTICA, N.Y. (October 30, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team celebrated not just a season sweep of Utica Wednesday night with a 3-0 road win, but also their captain Erica Prindle (Kingston, NY / Kingston) reaching the 1,000 career assist milestone. Needing just 11 assists to reach the mark entering Wednesday, Prindle did just that in the first set alone as she finished with a game-high 31 assists to help Delhi improve to 11-12 in its last non-conference matchup of the year. The senior and former SUNY Ulster transfer has 1,020 assists in her two-year career as a Bronco.

Looking to replicate their previous 3-0 triumph over Utica in early September, the Broncos did so by posting their second-highest kill percentage of the season at .308 with 42 kills and just nine errors. They took the first set, 25-21, in the closest game of the night, then went on to capture set two, 25-15, then the third frame, 25-18.

Witchney Clersainville led the Broncos' offense with 11 kills and five total blocks, including two solo. Taylor Tsatsis finished second with nine kills, adding two service aces and nine digs, while freshmen Marie Julian and Lexi Taylor each tallied eight kills, with Julian adding a pair of aces and seven digs, and Taylor charting eight digs. Libero Shelby Nolan led the team with 18 digs and posting two service aces. Haylee Lefebvre led the way with five service aces and administering six kills.

Head coach Beau Bracchy's women look to lock up a NAC Tournament spot with their final regular season challenge this Sunday, traveling to Northern Vermont Johnson to take on the host Badgers and Northern Vermont Lyndon. Delhi is currently fourth place in the conference standings with a 2-2 league record. The NAC Tournament features the top four teams competing in a final four format hosted by the one seed the weekend of Nov. 9-10.
