DELHI, N.Y. (September 11, 2019) – Another big crowd came to cheer on the undefeated SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team Tuesday night to a 3-1 win over Sage. The Broncos opened with two straight wins, then rebounded after a close third set defeat to win the fourth set and jump to 4-0 on the season. Head coach Beau Bracchy's team looks to keep it going Thursday night when they host Keystone at 7:00 p.m.

Delhi broke a 16-16 tie in the first set by snagging nine of the next 11 points for a 25-18 win. They then came out on top of a close second set with a 25-22 victory. Sage would get one back to win the third set, 25-22, only for the Broncos to take control in set four with a 25-16 win to seal the match. The fourth frame was fueled by a nine-point run for Delhi that put them ahead, 19-7.

Delhi posted double digits in kills in all four sets, including a game-high 15 in the fourth set, for 49 kills on the evening and a .147 kill percentage. Witchney Clersainville and Lexi Taylor both garnered a game-high 14 kills, while Chloe Elsenbeck had nine kills. Erica Prindle finished with 40 assists, as Shelby Nolan tallied 32 digs. The Broncos tallied nine service aces on the night, with Marie Julian leading with three aces and Taylor and Elsenbeck each having two.

The Broncos are off to their best start ever under head coach Beau Bracchy, exceeding the previous best of 3-0 set in 2009. Delhi opened the 2019 season with three-set wins over King's (N.Y.), Yeshiva, and Utica, giving them a 12-1 record in sets this season.
