NORFOLK, Va. (November 19, 2018) – After completing a successful 13-12 season, the SUNY Delhi women's volleyball team's continued to receive praise after two Broncos earned spots on the USCAA All-American Team. Senior Kristen Maslanka (Pine Island, NY / Warwick Valley) was selected to the First Team, while sophomore Ashley Hintz (Kingston, NY / Kingston) earned Second Team honors.

Head coach Beau Bracchy's team finished the 2018 campaign with their first winning record since 2010, and fell to eventual champion Thomas More in the ACAA Semifinals. The Broncos captured their first winning season since 2010, and first as NCAA Division III members. Delhi was 4-2 in five-set matches, including two where they battled back from two sets down. The first was at Utica on Sept. 10, followed by local-foe SUNY Cobleskill on Oct. 4. In both contests, the Broncos won the fifth set by two points.

Maslanka finished her career as a steady presence offensively and defensively, leading the team with 211 kills and ranking second with 270 digs. She tallied 11 double-doubles, including tallying a season-high 17 kills, along with 18 digs, in a 3-1 win over Fisher on Sept. 8. Maslanka reached 20-dig games twice this year, with a year-best 22 digs in a 3-1 win at Purchase on Sept. 21, and 21 digs in a 3-2 victory over Valley Forge on Sept. 2, in which she also had 16 kills.

Splitting time as the team's defensive specialist and libero, Hintz was awarded the ACAA's Defensive Player of the Week three times. She led the team with 391 digs, totaling four 30-dig games, including a career-best 36 in a 3-1 win over Green Mountain on Oct. 14.
