SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (October 9, 2018) – The American Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) has announced its weekly honors for women's volleyball. Sophomore Ashley Hintz (Kingston, NY / Kingston) received her second Defensive Player of the Week award after her performance in Delhi's two-set comeback win over SUNY Cobleskill on Thursday, Oct. 4. 

As the Broncos' libero in the five-set match, Hintz collected 35 digs, including four in the last volley to secure the team a 16-14 fifth-set win. The Fighting Tigers led the way taking the first two sets 25-21 and 25-20. Delhi was able to bounce back taking the next three 25-19, 25-17 and 16-14 to capture the victory. 

Hintz and the Broncos enter the second of their six-date, seven-match home stand Tuesday, Oct. 9 against Clarks Summit at 7:00pm.
