Broncos Fall to Southern Vermont in Four Sets

DELHI, N.Y. (October 11, 2017) – Despite a season-high 27 digs from Kyoko Shimizu and a team-leading 13 kills by Kristen Maslanka, the Broncos were defeated in four sets Wednesday night at home against Southern Vermont. The Mountaineers won set one, 25-21, and after a 25-19 set two victory the Broncos, SVC took the remaining two games by 25-19 and 25-22 ledgers.

Maslanka also had ten digs, while Madison Saleman tallied 14 digs of her own. Sarah Clapper, Regan Hubner and Taylor Tsatsis each had five kills, with King and Shimizu adding four and three service aces, respectively. Delhi was undone, however, by a combined 32 kills from SVC's Liv Sowles and Nikki Ramirez, with a matching 32 assists from Abigail Landon.
