DELHI, N.Y. (September 14, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team cruised to a 7-2 home win over Hudson Valley on Thursday, using three doubles wins and four singles victories to do so.

Victoria Jones earned a pair of 6-1 and 6-4 wins to sweep Laura Ciotoli at one singles, while Antonia Delavera beat Saphire Ahlers, 6-2 and 6-0 at singles four. Rani Samudrala went on to defeat Natalie Mercedes by matching 6-1 scores in the fifth slot. Jones and teammate Safiyyah Muhammad went on to beat Ciotoli and Madeline Gibbons in the top doubles spot, while Delavera and newcomer Reika Kumasaki defeated Sarah Sampson and Ahlers, 8-5, at number-two doubles.
