ONONDAGA, N.Y. (September 10, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's tennis team wrapped up a busy first week of action on Sunday, falling to Onondaga by a 9-0 score. In their fourth match in six days, the Broncos posted several close sets in the singles competition as they fell to 0-4. The Lazers improved to 2-0.
Onondaga took both the second and third doubles matches by 8-0 scores, and the first set by an 8-2 ledger. Antonia Delavera played Lea O'Brien to a close first set at two singles, falling just 7-5. O'Brien went on to take the second set, 6-0. Rani Samudrala played Jenny Lapp to a similar first set at three singles, but fell in set two by a 6-2 score.
