VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (December 2, 2019) – The SUNY Delhi women's soccer team picked up more end-of-season honors to put a capper on their 2019 season. Four Broncos received USCAA All-American honors: sophomore Kelsey Innes (North Babylon, NY / North Babylon) to the First Team, Alexa DuBois (Hobart, NY / South Kortright Central) and Micayla Slattery (Averill Park, NY / Averill Park) to the Second Team, and Alexa Scaglione (North Babylon, NY / North Babylon) an Honorable Mention.

Head coach Lauren Mackay's team finished the year with a 9-7-2 record in their first season in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). They earned the fourth seed in the NAC Tournament with a 5-2-1 league mark, beating fifth-seed SUNY Canton, 5-0, in the NAC Quarterfinals to reach the conference final four. The Broncos fell to top-seed Maine Maritime, 1-0, in a close league semifinals contest. Members of the Broncos' defense earned praise on the NAC's All-Tournament Team, which featured sophomore goalkeeper Rachael Scoones (Waterville, NY / Waterville) and sophomore defender A'mya Joseph (Baldwin, NY / Baldwin Senior).

Innes and junior Sara Fischetti (Treadwell, NY / Delaware Academy) were named USCAA National All-Academics, earning distinction for achieving GPA's of 3.50 or greater. Fischetti majors in Hotel & Restaurant Management, while Innes majors in Veterinary Science. Sophomore Sam Acuna (South Kortright, NY / South Kortright) was honored to the NAC Sportsmanship Team, which recognizes those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees positively affect the women's soccer culture and match environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the sport playing rules and etiquette.

Innes received national honors for the second straight year after being named a 2018 USCAA Second Team All-American her freshman season, and was recently named to the NAC First Team. She led the Broncos in scoring and ranked third in the NAC with 37 points, bolstered by three hat-trick performances. Her and DuBois finished tied for the team lead with 15 goals, ranking third in the conference, as DuBois' highlights included a pair of two-goal games. DuBois was named a USCAA Athlete of the Week, while Innes earned NAC Athlete of the Week.

Scaglione finished third on Delhi with 22 points on eight goals and six assists, netting a pair of two-goal games and a pair of two-assist games. Slattery led the team and ranked second in the conference with nine assists, while racking up four goals for 17 points on the year. She was named NAC Rookie of the Week.
