VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (October 2, 2019) – One day after earning NAC Defensive weekly honors, sophomore goalkeeper Rachael Scoones (Waterville, NY / Waterville) was recognized by the USCAA as its Division I Goalie of the Week. She was honored following a pair of gritty efforts versus Lycoming and NAC-foe SUNY Canton. Delhi split its games last week to stand at 5-3-1 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.

Scoones posted a career-high 20 saves against a high-shooting Lycoming squad on Tuesday, where the Broncos suffered a 4-1 defeat to the Warriors. She kept up the intensity in a shutout performance in Delhi's 3-0 NAC win over SUNY Canton on Saturday, logging six saves.

Scoones and the Broncos have one match this week, traveling to take on Maine Farmington in a NAC matchup this Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
