Agoglia, Schowerer Tied for First Following USCAA Day One

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (October 8, 2018) – Senior Alison Agoglia and freshman Erin Schowerer are tied for first after day one of the USCAA National Championships at the par-72, 5,305-yard Penn State Blue Course. Agoglia and Schowerer each clubbed 81 nine-over-par scores to lead the field.

Lauren Schnoor stands in fourth place after notching a 111 score, as Antonia Buon is fifth after carding a 136. Mid-Atlantic Christian's Kylie Jones is in third place at 109.

Agoglia enters tomorrow's final day looking to improve upon her third-place showing at last year's tournament. She has already been named a two-time USCAA Athlete of the Week this season, along with one tournament victory.

Tomorrow's concluding portion of the USCAA National Championships begin at 9:00 a.m.
