Agoglia Takes Third, Team Places Second in Season Debut at Keuka Invite

PENN YAN, N.Y. (September 12, 2018) – The SUNY Delhi women's golf team opened their season Wednesday at the Keuka College Fall Invitational. Senior Alison Agoglia led the Broncos with a 79 seven-over-par score to finished tied for third on the leaderboard as the team finished with a 452 for second place. The competition took place at the par-72, 5,848-yard Lakeside Country Club.

Freshman Erin Schowerer finished sixth in her Broncos debut with a 94 score, while Lauren Schnoor placed 11th with a 110 ledger. Newcomer Antonia Buon placed 13th with a 169.

While the field included golfers from four schools, including Robert Morris and SUNY Canton, the Broncos and host Wolves squared off in the team competition. Keuka won the team event with a 387 score. Robert Morris' Maggie Sloan won the individual championship with a 76.

Head coach Dave Arehart and the women compete next at this weekend's William Smith Invitational, beginning this Saturday.
