Robb Munro is in his ninth year as the head of the cross country and track and field programs for the 2020-21 season. Under Munro, his program has won six National Championships. The men and women have also combined for two national runner-up finishes (2014 NJCAA Men's Track and Field, 2015 NJCAA Women's Track and Field), four third place finishes and two sixth place finishes nationally in cross country, two regional titles, and four conference titles. In total, Munro has produced 88 All-Americans at the NJCAA, USCAA and NAIA levels, 20 individual National Champions in cross country and track and field, two national championships in relays, and school records in 38 track and field events (26 men, 12 women) have been broken.

In 2014, the women's track and field team won the NJCAA National Title in women's track and field for the second time in program history. In an incredible team performance, the women managed to score 135.5 points to win the team title by a half of a point.  In the same year, the men's team recorded their runner-up finish, only seven points off the lead.

One year later would be a different story. The women scored 136 points, but came up just short of the win with a runner-up finish.  There would be no such close call for the men.  After losing the year before by seven points, the Broncos were out for redemption and what they did may be the greatest performance in NJCAA Division III history.  The men piled up 217 points to dominate the field by 119 points over second place.  En route to the title the men won eight events and established three NJCAA national meet records.

In the 2015-2016 school year, SUNY Delhi left the NJCAA to provide students with four-year atheltic opportunities. In that year, the men placed third at the USCAA Cross Country National Championships and won the USCAA National Track and Field Invitational, while the women placed fourth in the track and field meet.  One year later the teams would begin rising to the new level.  The 2016 men's Cross Country team won the school's first four year National Championship with the upset victory in cross country.  In that same meet the women placed a surprising sixth place in the nation.  To finish off the year, both the men and women dominated the USCAA Track and Field National Invitational, winning by over 100 points each!

If the 2016 cross country title was an upset, the 2017 edition was anything but. With the men running excellent all year and breaking school records for five man average, the expectations were high going into the national meet. The men responded with a dominant win placing 1, 2, 3, 4, 13, easily repeating as National Champions.  The women, on the other hand had lost all but two people from the team a year before and rose to a second straight sixth place finish.

In the winter of 2018, the track and field programs competed in the NAIA to provide a championship opporunity for the track and field season. In their first year, the team qualified three athletes and finished with three top-12 finishes and one All-American
