ITHACA, N.Y. (December 2, 2017) – The SUNY Delhi women's and men's track and field teams opened their season Saturday at Cornell's Greg Page Relays. The Broncos combined for four top-ten finishes on the day against schools, such as Colgate, Syracuse, Cornell, Binghamton, Mansfield and Ithaca.
The day was highlighted by women's runner Madeeah Oranchak setting a school record in the 300-meter run, finishing 13th overall and first in her heat with a time of 43.48. Men's thrower Brandon Holliday added on to the highlights, taking fourth place in the weight throw with a distance of 14.03 meters. He would also take tenth in the shot put at 12.44 meters. Mike Beebe also placed fourth in the high jump at 1.95 meters, while Troy Dickson took ninth in the triple jump at 13.43 meters.
