The SUNY Delhi Track and Field teams wrapped up their season with a number of personal best performances at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet hosted at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. On a day where the weather forcast almost resulted in the meet being cancelled, the weather broke for a four hour window and the team took advantage.

The most significant personal best was turned in by Antori Abraham who broke the school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 39.22 meters.  For Abraham, she was reclaiming her record that was broken a week ago by teammate Diana Echols.  Abraham stepped into the circle for her last throw of her collegiate career and finished with her best throw of her career in a clutch moment.

Among the many personal bests that athletes posted, two came from Erica Cornmire who posted bests in the 100 meters (13.34) and the 200 meters (28.03).  Isamarie Ramos posted a best in the 800 meters (2:24.82) and then turned around 30 minutes later to pace teammate Rainey Cerqua in the 1500 meters.  The result was Cerqua dropping 11 seconds off of her personal best with at time of 5:28.36.  Laura Ryder also got in on the fun throwing a huge personal best in the discus with a toss of 33.01 meters.

For the men, the performances were also reaching new levels.  In the sprints and jumps, Ryan Roosa ended his collegiate career on a high note with a personal best in the 110 meter hurdles posting a time of 16.45 seconds.  Tyler Magnan ran a new best in the 100 meters (11.70) and Lac Van finished with a new best in the triple jump (12.97 meters).  Senior Brian McLeod finished his collegiate career by winning the high jump (1.90) and the long jump (6.36).  Over in the throwing circle, freshman Brandon Holliday won the competition and added to his personal best in the discus with a mark of 45.93 meters to get within a meter of the school record.  Finally, the men's 5000 meters resulted in five personal bests for the five Bronco entrants.  Jack Hillenbrand (15:08.03), Kobie Lane (15:20.02), Nick Arnecke (15:30.58), Andrew Davis (15:49.26) and Lucas Reilly (16:10.70) all posted their best 5,000 meter times in what was a great ending to another great season for the Track and Field programs.
