A few members of the SUNY Delhi Track and Field teams traveled to the Ithaca College Tuesday Meet which was held at Cornell University.  On a cool and damp day the athletes posted many season and liftime bests.

The top finish for the team came from freshman Paul Britton in the 110 meter high hurdles.  Britton's time of 16.69 seconds was good for second place overall and represented a personal best of almost a full second.

There was a lot of action in the hammer throw where freshman Diana Echols posted a new personal best in the hammer throw with a mark of 38.36 meters for the second best throw in program history, just nine centimeters behind the school record held by teammate Antori Abraham.  Abraham also posted a season best throw with a mark of 37.89 meters.  Freshman Laura Ryder threw 31.88 meters in her first ever hammer throw competition.  Brandon Holiday also posted a personal best in the hammer throw with a mark of 43.10 meters.

Echols also added a lifetime best in the shot put with a mark of 10.77 meters, while Ryder added a seaon best in the discus with a toss of 30.79 meters.

The team will host the USCAA National Invitational this weekend with teams traveling from Maine to Michigan.
