Barrow Leads Broncos in NYC

Junior Keimon Barrow won the triple jump and placed second in the high jump at the Ramapo Season Opener Invitational held at the Armory in New York City.  Barrow jumped 14.28 meters (46' 10.25") to win the competition by over a foot.  In the high jump he cleared 2.05 meters (6' 8.75").

Other top finishes for the Broncos came from sophomore Scott Downing who ran a five second personal best in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:35.63 to place fourth in the meet.  Freshman Matt Scavetta placed fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.32 meters (14' 2").  Sophomore Brian McLeod placed fifth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.88 meters (6' 2").

The Broncos will travel to Staten Island next week for the NYC Gotham Cup held at Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex.
