NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. (November 13, 2018) – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced Robert Armistead (Goshen, NY / Goshen Central) as its Men's Swimmer of the Week. The freshman became the first SUNY Delhi swimmer to receive the weekly conference award.

Armistead earned his first collegiate honor after a stellar performance at the William Smith Invitational, where he captured three victories. He began with the 200-yard IM where he touched the wall in 2:53.99. Armistead continued this momentum to the 100-yard backstroke clocking a time of 1:19.41. In his last event of the day, Armistead swam a leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay (2:06.92) that featured John Cosmus, Damon Keefer, and James Brunt.

Next for Armistead and the Broncos, the men take on York (N.Y.) at the Cedar Crest Multi on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 3:00 p.m.
