WATERVILLE, Me. (October 2, 2019) – Abshir Yerow (Syracuse, NY / Nottingham) and freshman Aiden Berlinski (Unionville, NY / Minisink) swept the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) weekly awards. Yerow earned Runner of the Week and Berlinski Rookie of the Week following high-caliber performances at the 8K SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational.
Yerow ran a career-best 25:35.6 to take second out of 314 runners, with his time ranking seventh all-time in the SUNY Delhi record books. Berlinski was the next Delhi finisher, earning 29th with a time of 26:50.9 as the Broncos finished seventh in the event out of 21 teams.
Yerow, Berlinski and the Broncos have their next challenge on their home course on Tuesday when they host the Bronco Classic at 5:15 p.m. at The College Golf Course.
