NORFOLK, Va. (September 18, 2019) – Men's cross country's Abshir Yerow (Syracuse, NY / Nottingham) was honored as the USCAA Runner of the Week following his second straight first-place finish running the 8K SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational on Saturday.

The former transfer from Onondaga C.C. topped the 47-runner field with a time of 26:44 as the Broncos grabbed three of the top four spots and four of the top eight to win the event with 24 points. He averaged a pace of 3:18 per kilometer.

Yerow and the Broncos have their next competition set for the SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28.
