WATERVILLE, Me. (September 17, 2019) – SUNY Delhi men's cross country freshman Seth Bywater (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) swept up conference honors for the second straight week as the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Rookie of the Week. He was recognized again following a second-place showing at his first career 8K event at the SUNY Oneonta Airfield Invitational Saturday to help the Broncos to victory.

Just like last week's showing at Vassar, Bywater and teammate Abshir Yerow served as the one-two tandem to top the individual field. Bywater came in second with a time of 27:01.3 behind Yerow, who won the event with a time of 26:24.1. In all, the Broncos had three in the top four and four in the top eight as the men captured first place with 24 points.

Bywater and the Broncos have two weeks to prep for their next race when they head to SUNY Geneseo for the Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28.
