WATERVILLE, Me. (September 10, 2019) – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) today announced senior Abshir Yerow (Syracuse, NY / Nottingham) as its Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week and freshman Seth Bywater (Cornwall, NY / Cornwall Central) as the Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week. Yerow and Bywater took the top two respective spots at Saturday's Vassar Invitational, helping the Broncos finish third in the 6-kilometer race.

Yerow place first in the field of 91 runners across six teams with a time of 19:18.1. Bywater came in right behind him seconds later in a time of 19:35.6. Saturday's race marked both runners' season debuts, including the career debut for Bywater.

Yerow, Bywater and the Broncos will head up Route 28 for their next race on Saturday, competing at the 8K Oneonta Airfield Invitational.
