Men Secure Top Four, Eight of Top Nine to Win Bronco Classic

DELHI, N.Y. (October 3, 2018) – SUNY Delhi men's cross country grabbed the four top spots and eight of the top nine to win their very own 5K Bronco Classic Wednesday evening with a perfect 15 points.

Kobie Lane led the race from start to finish, clocking in at 15:53.5. Lucas Reilly took second at 16:40.9, while Abshir Yerow grabbed third at 17:03.8 and Ted Oster fourth at 17:16.30. The next foursome for the Broncos earned spots six through nine. That featured Devon Benarick at 17:43.2, Kevin Malen at 17:45.2, Jack Hopkins at 17:49.40 and Caleb Mallery at 17:53.5.

Bladimir Pena earned 12th place at 18:01.8, while Anthony Cuchel grabbed 19th at 18:43.2. Derrick Kenan finished 23rd at 19:19.2, with Tyler Kemble placing 25th at 19:39.3. Michael Moran placed 32nd at 20:28.3 and Jahdei Rodriguez-Reid 33rd at 20:36.7.

Head coach Robb Munro's team's next competition is at Albany's R.K. Munsey Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12.
