Kobie Lane Receives Second USCAA Weekly Honor of Senior Campaign

NORFOLK, Va. (October 3, 2018) – For the second time this season, runner Kobie Lane (Port Jervis, NY / Port Jervis) swept conference and national weekly accolades. One day after earning ACAA honors, the senior was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

This marks the fourth straight week a SUNY Delhi cross country runner has swept the USCAA and ACAA weekly honors, and the third total the men's side. Fellow men's runner Abshir Yerow and women's harrier Kali Keyes have been the other recipients.

In a fierce 8K field of 308 runners, Lane earned his fifth career conference honor by completing the course in 25:40.5, to take fifth overall. The senior helped Delhi secure a fourth-place finish out of 23 teams with 158 points. It marked Lane's fastest career performance at the course.
