ONEONTA, NY (August 31, 2018) - The SUNY Delhi Broncos opened their season traveling to Harwick College with a 5-kilometer race on August 31. The men opened with an impressive sweep of the top five finishes to post a perfect score of 15 points in the field of 16 runners.
The men were led by freshman Devon Benarick who won the individual race with a time of 18:23. Rounding out the Broncos scorers were juniors Ted Oster (2nd, 18:25), Kevin Malen (3rd, 18:51), freshman Bladimir Pena (4th, 19:01), and Caleb Mallery (5th, 19:13).
Also running for the Broncos were Derrick Kenan (7th, 20:00), Anthony Cuchel (8th, 20:01), Tyler Kemble (11th, 20:40), and Michael Moran (13th, 22:16).
The Broncos will be in action again Satuday September 8th at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.
